Here in South Africa you will battle to get men’s pantyhose unless you go to a dance wear shop. I think because it doesn’t get as cold here as it does in other parts of the world, so this is not really a popular option for men.

So all you men reading this post, get on board with Jess’s pantyhose, when I wear cold weather pantyhose. My job requires I walk a lot (outside) and we in the UK suffer with, wet, damp, windy and cold conditions and cold weather pantyhose turn a miserable cold day to a “not a problem day” So if this can be ok for women then I say men get on board. Many men have to work outside or in cold office, so by taking a leaf out of us women you can not only look ok but feel ok and warm.

This caught my attention for one reason, I would regard myself as a man and wearing a pantyhose seems strange. Please don’t get me wrong – I have nothing against the product and It would be most suited to various activities such as ballet. In some cases they could be worn for additional warmth but I come from a sporty background and it would be a little too thin for warmth and it would be taken the wrong way by anyone witnessing me putting them on or taking them off!

Hello there, my dad has been looking into some pantyhouse jeans recently but he’s not very fond of online shopping so he gave up pretty fast. He doesn’t want men tights and would rather go for something thicker and more casual (not skinny jeans). What would you recommend for a men in his 70’s out of your list? Also, do you have a similar guide for women? I would love to check it out and follow your advice on picking something for myself.

Good review! The truth is that I have worn pantyhose in invieron (stolen from my wife haha) when I went camping and cycling. I have seen that they breathe very well when I ride a bicycle in a hard winter!

I would also like to know if there are different pantyhose for different temperatures. Since sometimes the cold is not so strong, but if you ride a bicycle, the wind can lower the temperature a lot.
I really like what you write about being able to combine pantyhose with jeans. This way you can wear your favorite jeans all year long! (my favorite jeans are slim-cut)

My husband hates men tights and everything similar, so part of your guide isn’t going to help me in choosing the right thing for him (no matter what tights I would buy, he is still not going to be wearing them). But he does love skinny jeans and you came up with some really useful ideas for me at this chapter. I would probably choose that pair from Calvin Klein, as they’re not totally skinny and look like male jeans (in my husband’s vision). They also seem to have a great quality so they’re probably going to last. I’m quite decided on going for this item, thanks for the tips!

I found this article very informative as a male. I never knew that pantyhose were available for men? I never knew that they were warm since I have never worn them. The jeans and shaper tank tops were also interesting. I’m considering purchasing some of the men’s pantyhose as gifts for some relatives that are always complaining of being cold during the winter. Especially those that work outside doing construction. This could be a great meaningful gift. The shaper tank tops are more for me because of my spare tire around my waist. I can feel less chubby with this under my clothes.

Well! gone are those days when pantyhose were meant specifically for women but now, it has to with what people truly want and they going for it. I wear pantyhose often these days especially when I am at home and I got nothing doing. This is a great post and most of the wears listed here are cool. It is winter already and there is a need to maintain that top notch dressing to stay abreast of cold and to also style well. i would go for the jeans mostly for now.
Style is simply the determinant of how the pantyhose are being worn and most especially considering the weather situation that we are in right now, but then I love the look of the Men’s Straight Fit Jeans – Calvin Klein Slim Straight Fit Style. I have a pair of these panty house and when you have them you will realise that it that they are actually real useful when It comes to winter. My mom bought them for me in winter and I have to admit they are quite comfortable as well. Too bad winter is over and the summer is real hot I had to drop them for the season.
